Diane and Ed Zore (Don Bosco ’63) Make Leadership Gift to Arts. For All Seasons. Campaign
St. Thomas More High School (STM) is proud to announce a generous $250,000 gift from Ed Zore (DB ’63), former CEO of Northwestern Mutual, and his wife, Diane Zore. Half of their gift will support the school’s Arts. For All Seasons. fundraising campaign. This leadership gift brings that campaign’s total funding to $750,000, moving STM significantly closer to its $1 million goal.
The Arts. For All Seasons. campaign is designed to transform fine arts education at STM through key initiatives such as renovating the school auditorium, expanding curriculum offerings in the arts, and creating a new endowed Arts Director position to lead the program's future growth.
A Vision for the Future
With a lifelong appreciation for Catholic education and a belief in the power of the arts, Diane and Ed Zore’s gift will leave a lasting impact on generations of STM students. A 1963 graduate of Don Bosco High School, a predecessor school of STM, Diane and Ed believe strongly in the value of Catholic education and its role in forming compassionate, well-rounded leaders.
“We are honored to support a school that is deeply committed to nurturing student potential in every form,” Diane and Ed shared. “The arts play a vital role in helping students discover their voice, collaborate, and grow into confident, creative leaders. We hope this gift helps inspire others to invest in the future of STM and its remarkable students.”
A Campaign Gaining Momentum
“Diane and Ed’s generosity reflects their deep belief in education and the arts as a catalyst for opportunity,” said STM President John Hoch (TM ’87). “We are thrilled with the momentum of the Arts. For All Seasons. campaign. Our goal is to complete fundraising for the project by June, and this gift brings us significantly closer to making that goal a reality. Diane and Ed’s generosity comes at a pivotal time in the campaign, and we are so grateful for their support and leadership.”
The Arts. For All Seasons. campaign supports several critical enhancements, including:
Expanding course offerings in dance, digital arts, photography, and music; and
Establishing an endowed position to lead and grow the fine arts program.
