St. Thomas More High School is excited to welcome junior Sho Orihara, an international student who has joined our community for the next two years after moving from Tokyo, Japan. Though he arrived just three weeks ago, Sho brings a wealth of global perspective, having spent four years attending two different international schools and speaking three languages: Japanese, Chinese, and English. His passion for STEM and cross-cultural connection shines through his impressive background, which includes participating in hackathons and recently winning a project-based mathematics competition in Japan. He is eager to bring these skills to the STM Robotics Club.
The school community is looking forward to learning from Sho's diverse experiences, hearing about his life in Tokyo, and seeing his dedication to growth as he prepares for an American university. Thank you, Sho, for bringing your global perspective to our halls and inspiring all of us to discover MORE every day.
