• How can an 8th grader prepare to join your program?

  Interested middle school players should send me an email at brian.krysiak@directsupply.com so I can get you on our email list. Every summer, the Lady Cavs host a basketball camp for 6th through 9th graders, and we run a Junior Cavaliers basketball league with teams for 6th through 8th graders. Players should work on basic basketball skills as much as possible and should be in great physical shape by the time high school season starts.

• Why do you love coaching at STM?

  I love coaching at STM because the school is a part of me. I graduated from here in 1998 and my entire family did the same over the past 30 years. This school is a 2nd home to me and I enjoy trying to help our kids reach new levels of success on the court.

• How would you describe the atmosphere and fellowship among your players?

  The atmosphere on our team is that of a family. We preach togetherness and unity with our girls. Each team is its own unique family. Basketball season is long and we want to make sure we are supporting each other throughout the highs and lows.
