Campus Ministry

Campus Ministry is our Catholic Christian response to the two greatest commandments of Jesus Christ.  You shall love the Lord your God with all your heart, with all your soul, with all your mind and with all your strength; and, You shall love your neighbor as yourself.  Campus Ministry helps provide students at Saint Thomas More High School with opportunities to live out these Commandments through their participation in the Sacraments of Eucharist and Reconciliation, daily prayer, days of reflection, overnight retreats, a pilgrimage to Italy, and Christian service projects.

Freshmen:  There is a retreat day set aside for the entire class with a follow-up leadership retreat provided for the freshmen who demonstrate leadership potential.

Sophomores:  There is an overnight relationship retreat required for all sophomores at the Tyme Out Center.  Also, Christian service is demonstrated through participation in the Gathering Meal Program.

Juniors:  This year has special emphasis on Christian ownership.  Thirty six hours of service is required for each student at Saint Thomas More High School.  Also, students have the option of taking their faith to the next level by participating on a spiritual pilgrimage to Assisi, Italy and retracing the steps of St. Francis and St. Clare.

Seniors:  A senior overnight retreat is offered and considered optional, though 80% of the senior class goes.  Also, all seniors are expected to participate in the intensive Christian service week, helping the poor and needy, the infirm or the young child.
