Open House 2009

On Sunday, October 25th, Saint Thomas More High School opened its doors to prospective students and their families for the 2009 Open House.  Over 200 families came out and visited our campus this year. The day began with a 9:30 a.m. Mass and was followed by student guided tours.

There is so much to showcase at Saint Thomas More High School, and all visitors that day had a chance to experience it all!  Potential students had a chance to meet our current students, faculty, staff, parents, volunteers, and Board of Directors.  Aside from seeing the building and classrooms on the tour, there were several stops for demonstrations covering such topics as our:

• Biomedical Sciences curriculum
• Wireless Laptop initiative
• Campus Ministry department
• Engineering & Robotics program
• Financial Aid options available to interested parents

There was an exhibit-style event in the Jerry Huennekens Gymnasium.  All of our sports teams, clubs, and academic departments had booths set up with promotional materials and other valuable information.   Visitors had a chance to speak directly with the coaches, club advisers, and members of the STM faculty to ask questions and learn more about areas of interest to them.

We sincerely hope that you were able to join us for this wonderful event.  If you have any questions pertaining to Open House 2009, please contact Mr. Paul M. Neuberger TM 01, Vice President for Advancement, at pneuberger@tmore.org or at 414-481-8370 x 106.  Contact Eric Blaufuss TM 04, Recruitment Assistant, at eblaufuss@tmore.org to request materials that were handed out at Open House.

We look forward to seeing you next fall!
